We have successfully designed and configured water pumping systems which are operated directly through regulated solar power.
Currently, pumping units from 0.5 HP to 15 HP capacities are available, upon request, corresponding to various depths up to 400ft (~120m) below surface level.
Any spare electricity produced from the solar photovoltaic panel can be used for lighting purposes by utilizing an efficient inverter. In addition, battery backup options for the system are also available.
Since the system is modular, it can be enlarged to generate more power to meet higher pumping capacity requirements.
For an idea about what a 1 HP water pumping station can do, consider the following:
- The system can draw water throughout the day time for at least 6 to 8 hours.
- The system can draw water from a depth of 125 ft (~38m) below the level of the surface.
- The system can draw 100 liters of water per minute.
- The system can provide 8000 to 10000 gallons of water per day without any battery backup.
