Mashal is a solar energy based lantern developed indigenously.

Mashal lanterns with white and yellow light
Mashal has been specifically designed as a replacement for traditional lanterns. It is robust and protected against accidental damage and weather effects. It is also suitable for para military applications. The product offers two selections of light; low (sleep mode) and full intensity. Optionally, a cell phone charging facility is also available.
Mashal with yellow LEDs provides extremely visible light in cloudy and snowy weather conditions. It is a compact user friendly product which is envisaged to have a life expectancy of at least 15 to 20 years for parts availability with 8 to 10 years of operational life for the battery.
