The Pulse Forming Network [PFN] is a unit used in the transmitter section of TPS-43 and TPS-70 radar systems. this unit provides electrical power to the radar transmitter.

One radar transmitter uses five Pulse Forming Network units at one time. Special design changes have been incorporated to meet extreme weather conditions of Pakistan and the units have consequently provided better operational response.
