Inverted Power Module is a high current electrical power conversion system for the charging of radar Pulse Forming Networks [PFN], developed indigenously for use with high power long range radar systems type TPS-43 and TPS-70.
The unit is used in the transmitter section of TPS-43 and TPS-70 radar systems. One transmitter uses four Inverted Power Module units at one time. Special design changes have been incorporated to meet extreme weather conditions of Pakistan and the units have consequently provided better operational response.

Inverted Power Module
The unit comprises of the following main assemblies:
- SCR controlled Power Conversion Unit
- SCRs driving and monitoring circuit
- Power line noise rejection unit
- Filtration unit
- Water flow control assembly
- External aluminum chassis
